The Staff Development Unit is located within HR Division in Senate House and is open between 0930hrs and 1730hrs, Monday to Friday. 

Who does what?

Susan Small, Staff Development and Human Resources Manager
Provides a comprehensive and integrated staff development, training and advisory service; acts as System Administrator for the computerised HR database and information system (currently ResourceLink); works with both the HR Director and the Pensions and HR Manager in matters of recruitment, employee welfare [including issues associated with disability], job evaluation and policy development/implementation.

Steven Mensah, IT and Web Support Trainer
Provides individual and group training in personal computer applications; provides initial induction to new staff on good practice in relation to IT equipment and software; trains and manages staff through the process of acquiring the ECDL qualification and acts as Test Centre Administrator.

Joanna Sypniewska, Staff Development Co-ordinator
Provides soft skills training on the internal programme and administrative support within the Staff Development Unit.

Dr Richard Clark is on secondment to the EISA SITS Project for 3 years from July 2009.  Anna Bak Dos Reis is currently on Maternatiy leave and will be returning at the end of 2012.
