Royal Holloway

Royal Holloway is one of the premier research-led colleges of the University of London. Our lively campus, just 19 miles west of central London, provides a unique environment for university study. In addition to the Egham campus, the College has a well-equipped building in central London, which provides a teaching facility and research base for postgraduates.

Our 8000 students work with internationally renowned scholars in 18 academic departments covering the sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities. A quarter of all students enrolled at Royal Holloway are postgraduates. They are a dynamic and influential sector of our community, and make an important contribution to the research excellence which characterises the college. Overall the College is ranked 16th in the UK in terms of research of purely 4* standard, indicating quality that is world-leading and of the highest standards (Research Assessment Exercise 2008).

A wide range of degrees at Masters and Diploma level are available, and every department offers research opportunities leading to MPhil and PhD degrees. The University of London degree gained by our talented graduates is valued the world over.
