. College Student Unions organise an extensive range of sporting and social events with ULU

The University has high-quality facilities for most sports and currently manages over 4,000 students regularly involved in intercollegiate sports leagues across London.
ULU’s own sports clubs and societies now number over 50, of which around 2,000 students are members and have achieved a high degree of success. For example, ULU Water Polo and Ice Hockey teams were British Universities Sports Association (BUSA) champions, with BUSA medals in Sailing, Karate and Volleyball also awarded to ULU teams.
Several Colleges of the University of London house important museums and galleries which are open to the public, including the Courtauld Institute of Art Gallery
and the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology
at UCL. In addition, many cultural institutions collaborate academically with the Colleges of the University, including the Natural History Museum, the V&A, the South Bank Centre, the Science Museum, the National Theatre, the National Film Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe and Tate Modern.

Colleges located in the Bloomsbury district of London have established strong academic links with the British Museum and the British Library and have established a ‘cultural trail’ – free-of-charge – for visitors and newcomers to London, which takes in sites of cultural interest in the area.
Every College of the University has its own excellent library facilities. In addition, the central libraries of the University of London, including the Senate House Library
