Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) has a rich and diverse heritage and is one of the largest colleges of the University of London, with 20,260 undergraduate and postgraduate students studying across the humanities and social sciences, science and engineering, and medicine and dentistry.

QMUL has its roots in four historic institutions: Queen Mary College, Westfield College, St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College and The London Hospital Medical School. Today, it offer something no other university can – a stunning residential campus in the heart of London, providing both the advantages of studying in the capital and a friendly, community-driven campus experience.

In the Research Excellence Framework 2014, QMUL was ranked ninth in the UK amongst multi-faculty institutions for the quality of its research. Facilities

There is a good range of suitable accommodation both on campus and close by. QMUL’s own facilities are extremely popular and competitively priced, and many rooms have en-suite bathrooms.

The Students’ Union is well known for its award-winning facilities and vibrancy. There are two shops, four cafes, two restaurants, a bar, a gym, a bookshop and a gym on site.  There are 180 clubs and societies and a large Student Support Centre to provide advice on anything from finance to housing.
