Strategic plan

The establishment of the University of London’s new governance structure in August 2008 created two new bodies: the Board of Trustees and the Collegiate Council.

These two bodies took a fresh look at the fundamental issues facing the University as an institution, most importantly determining its future direction and purpose based on common goals and the ability to add value.

The result was the collaborative creation of a five-year Strategic Plan, which includes a clear vision for where the University wants to be in 2014. The University will continue to be known for the highest level of academic achievement, while the services it provides to the Colleges and the wider community will be recognised for the value they add in supporting research and learning.
