Risk Management is about identifying what could go wrong in the University’s achievement of its strategic objectives and ensuring that appropriate actions are in place to prevent these risks to our objectives from occurring.

The University, in common with all other Higher Education Institutions, must have a Risk Management Policy  [PDF 12pgs, 122KB] The Policy sets out the roles and responsibilities of key individuals and Committees in the Risk Management process.

A Guide to Risk Management  [PDF 16pgs, 328KB] has also been drawn up which sets out  good practice to help staff carry out their Risk Management responsibilities.
