Steven Fogel has been managing partner of Dechert, London since 2000.  He was previously senior partner of Titmuss Sainer Dechert.  He spent many years serving on the firm's worldwide policy committee and specialised in dealing with issues arising from legal practice in an international context, recruitment and lawyer career management and media strategy.

Steven has taken a keen and active interest in the real estate and retail sectors. He advises many well-known companies and institutions in this field. He is the co-author of several leading textbooks on UK real estate law and a past Chairman of the UK Investment Property Forum.

He is currently on advisory boards at CWM (a London firm of surveyors specialising in retail and investment) and the Landon Trusts, a director of the Low Carbon World Trading Company, a trustee of Motivation, (which facilitates training and wheelchair manufacture overseas), advises the Freud Museum and the Phoenix Cinema, and undertakes coaching work.

Steven was at King's College London and then undertook a multi-college LLM degree at the University of London.
