Abdul Bhanji

Abdul Bhanji has spent over 30 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers culminating his career as a Senior Partner in charge of Business Development.  He is currently a Special Advisor to the Senior Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and works in a similar capacity with a number of Chairmen and CEOs of multinational organisations. He is a leading member of the UK business community and contributes regularly to debates, discussions and issues that affect UK businesses.

He is an ex-Governor, and a member of the International Advisory Board, and the Development Board of SOAS; former Chairman of the Aga Khan Foundation (UK) National Committee, and a former Trustee of the Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts. He is a member of the Marshall Commission Audit and Risk Management Committee, the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) London Region Council and the CBI Europe Committee. He is a director of Hanson Green.

His educational involvements also include being a former member of the Council of the Open University, and a Member of the former Further Education Funding Council for Greater London.

He was born in Tanzania and educated in England. He is married with three sons.
