The Careers Group, University of London

The Careers Group, University of London is recognised as an international centre of excellence and is the largest higher education careers service in the UK. Our mission is to provide products and services designed to help individuals achieve and maintain job satisfaction throughout their working lives.

Our key customers are academic institutions wanting to deliver careers services to their students, staff and graduates; organisations looking for help with career development activities; careers service providers seeking support; graduate recruiters wishing to meet students and graduates at any stage in their working lives; and individual job seekers or career changers.

The Careers Group is a membership organisation consisting of a range of higher education Careers Services supported by a small central team within the University of London. The Careers Group provides expertise, experience and high quality staff to work within member services supporting undergraduates, postgraduates and research staff as well as liaising with graduate recruiters from all sectors.

Expert staff

The Careers Group includes over 150 careers and employability professionals and employability consultants working across its member services. Our in-house Professional Development and Research Units ensure that staff are supported to be practice leaders in their field, working with students and graduates from all disciplines and employers from across all sectors.

Professional Training, Staff Development & Research

The Careers Group has an in-house Professional Development Unit offering a range of employability-focused webinars and training opportunities for careers professionals and graduate recruiters, ranging from sector updates to digests of current policy developments within the employability landscape.
