Information Security

The University recognises that information is fundamental to its successful operation, and must be protected against breaches of confidentiality, failures of integrity and interruptions to availability. Effective information security is a combination of physical and technical security, together with appropriate policies which define the requirements which must be adhered to in order to safeguard information. It is the responsibility of all staff, students, visitors and other users of the University’s ICT facilities to be familiar and comply with the Information Security Policy and sub-policies, notably the Acceptable Use Policy.
