The University's Strategy for Library and Information Resources

The central information resources of the University of London exist to provide essential support to academic activities across the federal University, and in turn, nationally to the higher education community.

A Strategy for Library and Information Resources  [PDF 9pgs, 243KB] has been agreed and its objective is to bring resources together in an integrated organisational structure which will optimise their management and use.

These resources include the Senate House Library (SHL) , the seven Institute Libraries and the University of London Computer Centre (ULCC) .  It also includes the Institutes of the School of Advanced Study  with their research resources (human, electronic and bibliographic) which represent a major asset for both the University and wider academic community.

The Strategy is aimed at managing and developing these resources and to make them available to scholars within the University, as well as the wider academic community, nationally and internationally.
