Job Vacancies

Recently we have been made aware of bogus vacancies advertised on various job boards using the University of London name and logo.  If you receive an email from ulrecruit@london.com offering you a role, please note that this is a fraudulent email account and that it is not in any way associated with the University of London.

If you receive any requests for money transfers, please note that these are fraudulent as the University would never require money transfers from prospective employees.

Any such false communication, including bogus contract letters signed with a name of Kelvin Wright (example available here), should be disregarded as fraudulent.

The job vacancies on this website are divided into two categories:

Job Vacancies at the central University

What is referred to as the central University is the 'Central Academic Bodies and central activities of the University of London'.  These offices are located mainly on the Senate House/Stewart House complex in Bloomsbury, WC1. These vacancies are administered by the central University's Human Resources Division, Ground Floor, Senate House, Malet Street, London, WC1E 7HU.

Job Vacancies within the University of London Colleges

The Colleges are located all around London, some with a number of different campuses.  For further details regarding a College's vacancy please contact the College's Human Resources Divison.

The University of London values the contributions of all its contract facilities and catering staff who help deliver a first-rate service.  As many will know, Professor Geoffrey Crossick, the Vice-Chancellor, is personally committed to the principles of the London Living Wage, and he was instrumental in its adoption when he was Warden of Goldsmiths.  The University had initially planned to implement the London Living Wage when its Facilities Management and Catering contracts came up for renewal in 2013.  This timetable has now been reconsidered and, to demonstrate its full commitment, the University has been working very closely with its service providers and trade unions to ensure that we implement changes in pay by the end of the coming academic year 2011-12.
