Q. Do I need permission to film at the University of London?

A. The University’s permission is needed to film anywhere on University-owned property which includes Senate House and its car parks, the pedestrianised Precinct outside Birkbeck, University of London and SOAS, the Intercollegiate Halls of Residence and the University gardens.

A. Requests for images and permission should be addressed to the Director of Marketing and External Relations .

A. You should contact the College of the University if you know where the student studies. However, students will be protected by data protection laws.

Q. I am trying to obtain confirmation that someone is a student/graduate of the University – who can help?

A.  You should contact the Transcripts Office  in the first instance. However, students/graduates are protected by data protection laws.

Q. Can I arrange a guided tour of the University?

A. You are welcome to visit the University although we don’t arrange tours. Given the federal nature of the University, you are advised to contact us in advance of your visit.

A. Given the federal nature of the University it is advisable to contact the Colleges or The Careers Group to see if they can help.
