The University of London Undergraduate Open Days, organised by The Careers Group, provides an opportunity for prospective students to gain an insight into what it would be like to study one of the many colleges and institutes that make up the University of London.
These open days are centrally organised and held off campus in Senate House and will feature talks and exhibition stands from the following colleges: Birkbeck, Central School of Speech & Drama, Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London International Programmes, Goldsmiths, Kings, LSE, Queen Mary, Royal Holloway, Royal Veterinary College, St George’s, SOAS, The School of Pharmacy, UCL and the University of London Institute in Paris (only exhibiting on 15 September)
Not only will you be able to explore the range of study options available, you can also find out what life in London could be like for you as a student.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
The talks booking programme is now live and you can see the full programme on the Open Day webpages, you can also download a pdf of the full programme
[PDF 2 pgs, 3MB], including details on tours of several campuses. We strongly recommend that you take a moment now to look through the programme and to book a place on each talk you wish to attend (maximum 3 per day). Each visitor who wishes to attend the talk should book a place, ie if a student attends with a parent or guardian, then both people should book a place. Capacity in some talks is quite small due to space limitations so we advise that you book now to avoid disappointment. Any visitor who arrives at the open day without having pre-booked a place on a talk may not be able to attend.
PRE-REGISTRATION
You can pre-register
now and we will send you more information about the open days and when the talks programme is available to view. It is not compulsory to pre-register but the booking system for the talks programme will only be available to those who have already pre-registered. If you turn up on the day without pre-registrating, you may be disappointed as many of the talks are booked up in advance.
Group bookings: if you are from a school or college and want to bring a group of students to the open days, we do recommend that each student registers individually. This will ensure each member of your group will have the opportunity to book a place on the talks programme when it goes live in August.
If you do not wish to register all students individually, you can just turn up on the day but places in the talks may not be available. Last year we encountered a high demand for places in the talks which is why we have introduced a booking system.
