Central Printing Services (CPS) operates as a commercial subsidiary of the central University and produces a wide variety of printed material for the University of London’s administrative centre, distance learning system and associated Colleges and Institutes.

In association with our print supply partners we are able to secure cost-effective solutions to all your printing needs. CPS is also able to accept printing work from non-university customers and we will happily provide a quotation on request.

Printing & Finishing

CPS is able to offer a broad range of traditional ‘litho’ and modern ‘digital’ printing options. Based on your requirements and budget we can advise on the most appropriate method of production to suit your needs.

With both in-house and outsourced print facilities CPS can complement its range of printing methods with a wide range of finishing services; such as saddle stitching and perfect binding of brochures and booklets to collating, drilling, binding, numbering and perforating of single or multi-part documents.

Design & Typesetting

With a number of design partners working with CPS we can help to select an appropriate designer should you require a fresh creative approach to the visual perspective of your literature etc.  Should you simply require an update to existing artwork we can manage this process for you either using our in-house skills or via our outsourced partners.

Artwork Production

While we are able to offer this service, many of our clients prefer to originate their own artwork. Our recommendation is to supply us with colour correct (CMYK) composite PDF files and we can assist in the production of these or provide a specification to enable you to complete your artwork correctly.
