Stella Beaumont

Stella Beaumont worked for over 25 years at Guardian News & Media before leaving in 2012 to set up her own strategy consultancy. Her roles at Guardian News & Media included: Head of Research and Planning; Strategy and Corporate Development Director; General Manager of The Observer; and International and Business Development Director.  Stella also served on the boards of Learnthings, a digital education business, M&G Media South Africa, Guardian Films and Content Next Media. Stella spent the last year of her career at The Guardian based in New York working on the set up of Guardian US and the sale of an American media business.

Stella is a member of the University’s Senate House Library Board (and was a member of its predecessor from November 2012) and she is also a Non-Executive Director of Nabarro LLP, a Community Governor of Yourhealthcare CIC and a Director of KBC Special Events. Stella has a degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford and has been a speaker at strategy courses at Harvard Business School and London Business School.
