Revocation of Recognised Tutor Status
Where a graduate’s Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education is revoked in line with University of London regulations, this shall result in automatic revocation of such graduate’s Recognised Tutor Status.
Where, in the reasonable opinion of the University, a graduate holding Recognised Tutor Status has brought or is likely to bring the University into disrepute, the University may, in its sole discretion, revoke such graduate’s Recognised Tutor Status.
Where a graduate’s Recognised Tutor Status has been revoked, the University of London may request the return of the Recognised Tutor Status certificate.
The University does not monitor or endorse the performance of those holding Recognised Tutor Status following their award of the Postgraduate Certificate and Recognised Tutor Status. For the sake of clarity, graduates with Recognised Tutor Status may not reference this status in such a way as to expressly or impliedly indicate that the University of London monitors or endorses their performance following their award.
