Academic quality assurance
At the University of London, we are committed to making our high quality teaching, research and flexible programmes accessible to all students. In this section, you can find out about our quality assurance and enhancement processes.
Our ambitious strategy 2020-2025 addresses new challenges by harnessing the strengths of our history and forging a path for a world class university in a modern, global community.
The strategic vision for 2014-2019 was to make a unique contribution to learning and research-led scholarship through our unrivalled network of member institutions, our global reach and reputation, and the breadth of our high-quality innovative academic services and infrastructure.
Within the governance structure of the University, the Collegiate Council has responsibility on behalf of the Board of Trustees, for academic strategy and policy and for the discharge of academic affairs. The Council is supported by the Academic Quality Advisory Committee, who produce the annual University Quality Overview Report. The Committee also promotes quality enhancement and shares good academic practice across the University.

University of London Worldwide Quality and Standards
We have produced this booklet for government and professional bodies, regulators and other stakeholders.
From the perspective of University of London Worldwide (the central academic body overseeing the University’s provision by blended, flexible and online learning), it describes how the University works with its member institutions, our engagement with independent teaching centres around the world, and the frameworks and mechanisms that assure quality and standards for our programmes.
