City, University of London Careers Service

City, University of London has been using education, research and enterprise to transform the lives of their students, community and the world for over a hundred years.

The Careers Service provides a professional, high-quality careers and information service for students and recent graduates of City, in collaboration with employers and other academic and service departments at City.

Their aim is to support and develop our students by providing the tools to enhance employability skills.

The City Careers Service consists of:

  • Careers Consultants that provide one-to-one career guidance, run workshops on careers topics, and work with Schools on employability.
  • The Employer Engagement team works with national, international and local businesses to bring employers to City for events and sources opportunities for students.
  • Unitemps: in-house temporary staff agency provides all temporary staff within City and works to get students real work experience within City and with local businesses.
  • An Information team that provides online, print and video careers resources for students, manages the Careers office, and coordinates institutional input to the Graduate Outcomes survey process.
