Batman and Senate House
Senate House has very close ties with the Batman franchise, as both the Batman Begins and Dark Knight Rises films used Senate House extensively for filming. Director Christopher Nolan is an alumnus of the University of London, having studied English Literature at UCL.
In addition to this, the University of London was honoured to be chosen as the backdrop upon which the Bat-signal was shone to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Batman's creation.
