The debate around women’s rights and civil liberties gained prominence in the late eighteenth century following profound social and political changes across Europe.

This exhibition explored some of the famous and lesser-known stories of over 50 women pioneers and their ground-breaking work that led to change in the spheres of politics, employment, education and reproductive rights.

This exhibition ran from 16 July to 15 December 2018.
