The reference only membership is ideal for regular access to the Library's reading rooms, collections and other services onsite.
Please register online before you come into the Library.
The reference only membership is available for 6 months or 1 year. It offers onsite access only and it does not include borrowing. Photographic ID and proof of address are required.

Join online
To pre-register online, please fill in the form below and press the ‘Submit’ button. To complete your membership, bring your ‘temporary membership number’ to the library along with a photo ID and a proof of address. Let staff at the desk know the length of the membership you would like to purchase, and they will process it for you. Please note we only accept card payments at the moment.
Renew online
To renew your reference only membership online, please choose either the 6 month or 1 year option.
