Financial accounting frameworks (AFM010-01)
This module provides an introduction to core accounting principles and their applications, both internal and external, to a business organisation.
Accounting and Financial Management - structure
The MSc Accounting and Financial Management consists of the following:
- Ten compulsory modules (150 credits total)
- One compulsory Capstone project (30 credits)
You should register for the following modules in the first two sessions of your programme:
- Financial Accounting Frameworks (FAF) [AFM010]
- Management Accounting Frameworks (MAF)[AFM020]
- Financial Management Essentials (FME) [AFM030]
You should then register for:
- Advanced Financial Analysis (AFA) [AFM040]
- Advanced Management Accounting (AMA) [AFM050]
Please note that you may not perform to the best of your ability if you do not register for the modules in the order prescribed here. Modules AFA010 to AFA050 provide a foundation of learning to build on in the later modules.
The following individual modules may be taken on a standalone basis subject to availability:
