'Commons, Wilds, Infrastructures' is a research project led by Dr John Bingham-Hall, as part of the Banister Fletcher Global Fellowship, a fellowship opportunity piloted by the University of London Institute in Paris in partnership with the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) and Queen Mary University of London (QMUL).

About this event

Please join Dr John Bingham-Hall for this final event in his Commons, Wilds, Infrastructures programme, bringing it to the commons of a northern Paris performance space in partnership with artist-philosopher Emma Bigé, photographer-ethnographer Melchior Tersen and ULIP researcher-Quartiers Solidaires militant Anna-Louise Milne.

Drawing on and working between the practico-performative experiences of dance, on the ever-improvised curations of daily food distributions in and nearby the perimeter of the Grand Parquet and the deep soundings of counter-cultural practices in the Bois de Boulogne, the evening will invite participants to think with and about our weight in this world, the "pleine terre” beneath our feet in the Jardins d’Eole and its rarity in the Paris environment, and explore the commons between us.

Refreshments will be served after the talks in partnership with the P’tits Déjs Solidaires network.

Full speaker details and schedule will be posted shortly.

Please note that the event will be held in French.
