Join us for our online MA taster course with Dr Hannah Williams, Lecturer in the History of Art at Queen Mary University of London.
This course focuses on the history of the Louvre in the 18th century. Long before it became one of the world’s most famous museums, the Louvre was already the centre of the Paris art world. Using art-historical and psychogeographical approaches, this course takes students on an exploration of the Louvre’s long-lost spaces and recaptures the habitual activities of this cultural centre of pre-Revolutionary Paris.
This 30-minute lecture delivered in English by Dr Hannah Williams will then be followed by a 20-minute Q&A session where you will be able to ask any questions you may have about our MA Urban History and Culture programme(Opens in new window).
