Students can access a range of services and tools from Careers and Enterprise at Queen Mary University of London as well as benefit from the experience of the University of London's Careers Group, the largest higher education careers and employability service in Europe.
All University of London Institute of Paris students receive a free dedicated careers service through the Careers & Enterprise team at Queen Mary University of London. The Institute in Paris also works with the Careers Group, the largest university careers service in Europe, which provides products and services designed to help individuals achieve and maintain job satisfaction throughout their working lives.

You will have access to thousands of online resources, including industry guides, international job search listings, psychometric tests practice, application and interview support, jobs blog, livestreamed careers presentation and more.
Individual advice
Dedicated University of London Institute in Paris careers advisers offer seminars and one-to-one advice sessions. These one-to-one sessions provide you with an opportunity to discuss specific plans, such as further study or graduate training applications, or to have a chance to talk very generally about what sort of things you need to think about when planning the step beyond the Institute in Paris. Phone and online appointments are available throughout the year.
Careers talks and events
The University of London Institute in Paris organises seminars and workshops focusing on the wider French and European recruitment market to complement the advice and guidance offered by Queen Mary University of London’s Careers & Enterprise. Careers Talks with University of London Institute in Paris alumni and other professionals from Paris and further afield take place on a regular basis, organised both by the Institute in Paris or the Students’ Union.
Work experience
We are strongly committed to helping our students obtain work experience through internships, which will maximise their employability after graduation, whether in France or the UK. Membership of the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce and Industry gives us contact with a wide range of Paris-based businesses, many of whom have opportunities suitable for University of London Institute in Paris students.
