About the book

This book brings together scholars from various countries worldwide to analyze the Arctic within the field of International Relations.

Notably, this book represents the inaugural edited volume on the Arctic that promotes collaboration between Turkish scholars and their counterparts from the Arctic region.

Its objective is to provide readers in Turkey with a comprehensive perspective on the region, covering key aspects from the historical exploration of the Arctic to contemporary regional geopolitics, all while adopting a critical approach that challenges prevailing Arctic clichés.
