Online Taster Course: Europe's borders and international politics
Event information>
Join us for our online International Politics taster course entitled "Europe's borders and international politics" with Dr Marie Duboc.
This course will focus on borders, a term widely discussed in public and policy discourses. You will learn about how the European Union manages its migration policy by maintaining its borders with third countries such as Libya or Turkey through partnerships. We will ask the following questions:
- Where are Europe's borders?
- What role do third party countries play in EU border control?
- What are the implications for the rights of refugees and migrants?
This taster course will provide the opportunity to introduce some of the major intellectual ideas behind the International Politics degree programmes at ULIP.
This will be a 30-minute lecture delivered in English and will be followed by a 30-minute live Q&A session where you will be able to ask any questions you may have.
