The UK and Singapore: Creating a sustainable future
Event information>
The University of London was pleased to welcome alumni and friends to a special thought leadership panel discussion in Singapore on 6 April 2022.
We were delighted to have UoL alumni Alex Chan and Steven Seow join Vice-Chancellor Professor Wendy Thomson on the expert panel, discussing how the UK and Singapore can collaborate to support a sustainable future. There was also a robust series of questions from the audience, with topics ranging from education knowledge preservation to mental health and technology.
It was a pleasure to be joined by Sam Myers, HM Deputy Trade Commissioner for Asia Pacific, who provided the keynote address, where he gave us a thoughtful, yet cautiously optimistic, outlook for the future.
