The accessibility suite is located on the sixth floor of the Library, with step-free access from the fourth floor entrance. The Suite is a dedicated room for Senate House Library (SHL) members who need to use assistive technology or require additional learning support.
Facilities and assistive technology
- Two dedicated large-screen workstations with accessibility software installed
- Electronically height-adjustable tables
- Orthopaedic chairs
- Scanners
Booking the room
If you would like to use this facility and you are a University of London student or staff member, please ask your own institution’s Disability Support Officer to request booking rights for the room from our Disability Support Team. All other SHL members should email our Disability Support Team directly.
More information on the Library’s accessibility provision can be found on our Accessibility page. Please get in touch if you would like to learn more or have any suggestions on how we can improve accessibility at SHL by emailing shl.accessibilitysupport@london.ac.uk.
