Dr Sky Zheng appointed as new Executive Director, University of London Worldwide

Dr Sky Zheng has been appointed as the new Executive Director, University of London Worldwide and will join the University on 2 January 2025.

The University of London is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Sky Zheng as the new Executive Director, University of London Worldwide. Dr Zheng joins the University on 2 January 2025 taking on a key leadership role responsible for driving growth across the University's digital and distance learning programmes, which currently includes 40,000 students across 190 countries.

Dr Zheng will report directly to the Vice-Chancellor and will serve as a member of the Vice-Chancellor's Executive Group.

Dr Zheng brings over two decades of experience in higher education, having held leadership positions in both public and private institutions. Prior to joining the University of London, he served as Managing Director of Transnational Education at Global University Systems, CEO of InteractivePro, an Online Programme Management (OPM) provider for universities and most recently as Vice President of International Development at FutureLearn.  

Dr Zheng is an alumnus of the University of London, having completed his PhD in Intercultural Communication and Education at Birkbeck, University of London and is a frequent speaker at international conferences.
