LRaPP's 2 year anniversary and highligting our two policy fellows

Date

In July 2023, it will be 2 years since LRaPP was set up by the University of London and the GLA.

LRaPP was set up by the University of London and the GLA, with support from London Councils, CAPE and London’s broader university sector, to promote closer working between the academic research community and London Government.

We welcome you all to celebrate with us at our 2-year anniversary event to learn more about our work on knowledge brokerage, a just transition to net zero (the retrofit challenge) and how we are working together with policymakers, researchers, businesses, and communities for a better London.

We also highlight our two supporting fellows who began their roles back in March 2022. Policy Fellows, Sarah Jasim and Ilias Krystallis, were seconded from UCL to the Mayor of London’s Intelligence Unit. Both are supported by the Capabilities in Academic Policy Engagement initiative (CAPE), funded by Research England.

Their overarching Fellowship goal is to develop a sustainable knowledge brokerage service within a 12-month timeframe, to improve the ways of working between academic researchers from London Higher Education Institutions and policymakers at the Greater London Authority, London Councils and London boroughs.

Find out more about their work as Fellows in our blog.
