Visiting Scholars are supported by a team of CODE Fellows, led by the Director of CODE, Dr Linda Amrane-Cooper and supported by our Executive Leads for Visiting Scholars and Research and Scholarship. Visiting Scholars are given workspace in the University of London’s iconic Senate House complex, provided with a desk, email account and granted access to our extensive online Library with over 100 million digital items in the collection plus our physical Senate House library.

Building on our successful collaboration with the Open University of China, CODE welcomes once again two scholars from China in 2024.  Dr Jiang Yilu from the Institute of Lifelong Education , The Open University of China Beijing is exploring the path of characteristic discipline  construction in UK Open and Distance Education and Dr Ana Niu, from Tianjin Open University , China is researching the UK system for the accreditation of prior learning and credit  accumulation and transfer. Additionally, Prof Dilmeire Sant Anna Ramos Vosgerau from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, Brazil is developing instructional design for professional training.
