Senate House Library boosts research resources with full Adam Matthew Digital portfolio

Date

Senate House Library now offers full access to Adam Matthew Digital's extensive portfolio, including over 20 new modules on diverse topics

Senate House Library has acquired access to the most recently published content from Adam Matthew Digital (AMD), maintaining access to the complete portfolio. It consists of over twenty additional modules of content, including Colonial Caribbean history, the East India Company, Hindi cinema, women's voices and life writing, and the Royal Shakespeare Company archive. AMD also provides training resources to support undergraduates with searching for and interpreting primary sources materials. The newest module is specifically targeted at interrogating Colonial documents and narratives.

SHL is one of only a handful of libraries worldwide that currently provides access to all AMD collections.

Adam Matthew Digital can be accessed from our e-resource A-Z list. Off-site access is available to all central University of London staff and students, staff and students of the wider University of London Federation, and University of London alumni members, for research purposes. All other users can access Adam Matthew Digital when onsite at Senate House Library. Senate House Library acquires resources in line with our recently updated Collections Development Policy.
