Silver 'Investor in Students' award for Intercollegiate Halls
The Residential Services team has won a prestigious Silver accreditation in the Investor in Students programme for student experience in the Intercollegiate Halls.
The Intercollegiate Halls joined the Investor in Students programme in September 2022 and won the Silver award in their first accreditation assessment, which took place in May this year.
Investor in Students provides a 360-degree view of the student experience in residential accommodation. The assessment includes:
-
an anonymous student survey, which asks residents about their experience of the facilities, staff, customer service, health and wellbeing support, and the social and community environment
-
a staff survey, which focuses on how empowered staff feel to deliver the best possible service to students
-
an independent 'impression' of comments, complaints, and feedback that students have posted on social media and review websites
Andrew Howarth, Director of Residential Services, said:
Even after nearly 11 years at the University, the level of dedication and professionalism of the Residential Services and Facilities Management teams never ceases to amaze me. This award is a significant recognition of the teams' hard work supporting our student residents and delivering exceptional student experiences.
