University of London Halls Transformation: new spaces for studying, relaxation and connection
The University of London is excited to unveil a number of upgrades to our Halls of Residence, designed to enhance student life by offering vibrant new spaces for relaxation, socialising and studying.
Earlier this year, our Residential Services team launched a major refurbishment of both bedrooms and common areas in our Halls of Residence. The project combines student feedback on their living space needs with new designs that reflect our University's visual identity.
New communal spaces for every interest
In the first phase of improvements, we introduced a variety of new communal spaces, including a videogame suite, yoga studio, study room, music room and TV room, with other dedicated rooms to come. The team have also created a vinyl collection room that encourages students to take a vinyl record from a wall display and play it in the space.
Upgraded bedrooms for comfort and safety
The bedrooms in the halls are also undergoing upgrades, and the Residential Services team are looking to implement new standards that will provide an even safer and higher-quality environment for students.
