Two new online degree programmes are now available from the University of London – an MSc Data Science (with Goldsmiths, University of London) and a BSc Psychology (with King’s College London).

These are fully online degrees, with the same quality of provision as students would find on campus, but with the flexibility, convenience and value that our distance programmes offer to students around the world.

Several hundred students started on the two programmes this week, and join the tens of thousands of learners who study with us to transform their lives and careers.

We also launched new modules for our MSc in Supply Chain Management and Global Logistics (with City, University of London), our Global MBA Health Pathway (with UCL) and our popular BSc Computer Science programme (with Goldsmiths, via the Coursera platform) on which we welcome a new intake of over 700 online students, from over 100 countries.

In total, on Monday, well over a thousand students started their journey with the University of London, across our new and existing online degree programmes.

Sam Brenton, Director of Education, Innovation and Development at the University of London, said:

“We are proud to launch these new courses at this most challenging time for higher education, and for students everywhere. We welcome the newest members of our community of learners. We hope they prosper with us as the programmes grow, and that their time with us enables them to realise their ambitions for the future.

We partner with our world-class member institutions in the University of London to bring high quality, affordable, accessible higher education to learners all over the globe. We’ve been doing distance learning since the 19th Century and with today’s technology we keep pushing at the boundaries of what’s possible.

We know, too, that with the closure of campuses around the world, high quality online education has a vital role to play in society, the global economy, and the lives of many millions of students everywhere.

We’re proud to play our part in that effort, and to work with our world-leading partners to make it happen.”
