Cristina is Manager of the Centre for Online and Distance Education. Her background is in Intercultural, Linguistic and Community Mediation.
For over five years, Cristina worked for a charity to support families of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. In this setting, the charity offered mediation to families and Local Authorities with the aim of assisting them in finding resolutions for disputes over the support required by children and young adults in need.
Cristina has also worked in Higher Education as a Support Officer for Online and Distance Learning Students. By liaising with ODL students on a regular basis, Cristina developed her interest for Online and Distance Education and particularly in its potential to keep growing and develop as an opportunity for students all over the World.
