Dr Ser Yeng Ler

Ser Yeng is an impact-driven university technology transfer professional, who has business development and sales experience in an allergy immunotherapy startup and a proven track record of identifying and nurturing promising startups. She has a PhD in Biological Sciences from Nanyang Technological University, a Master in Community Leadership and Social Development from Singapore University of Social Sciences (previously known as SIM University), a Graduate Diploma in Economics from University of London (2015-2017), a Specialist Diploma in Clinical Trial Management from Nanyang Polytechnic and a Specialist Diploma in Digital Marketing and Analytics from Singapore Polytechnic. She was a recipient of Commonwealth Scholarship, Nanyang Research Scholarship and SIM University Social Resilience Enhancement Fund, and a featured volunteer in the National Community Leadership Institute's 50th Anniversary Commemorative Book. Outside work, she is a Distinguished Toastmaster and a mentor at the home club of Toastmasters World Champion of Public Speaking 2017. She is happy to advise students on time management, career advancement, personal development and entrepreneurship.
