Ricmond Kong

Coming from an Economics and Politics background after graduating from the University of London, I had the opportunity to work with politicians and career diplomats from a wide-range of countries that are being stationed at the respective Embassies and Consulates within Singapore, through the extracurricular activities from the school clubs. This has given me both the bird's eye and micro-perspective view of how the intricacies of policies and diplomacy tie strongly together to work its magic, which I hope to be able to offer aspiring and current students of the school.

My experience in the University of London has enabled me to contribute more to my community, which allowed me to deepen my experience in community service and youth development work. This allowed me to make good use of the knowledge learnt through my stint forming Grassroots Committees ground-up such as founding Sengkang North Youth Network as its Founding Chairman. It is with these experiences that I am able to offer a broader perspective on youth leadership and development which I hope will prove useful to our students.
