I applied for the LLB while living in Geneva where I was working at the World Intellectual Property Organisation. It was the most recommended programme I found and was ideal for me as I frequently travelled. I completed the LLB in 2015, followed by the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC), - which I partially crowd funded- now called the BPC and then worked at an energy company in Barbados. Thereafter, I completed the Legal Education Certificate (L.E.C) at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago. Shortly after being called to the bar in Trinidad, I had the joy of preparing written submissions for the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court which resulted in a unanimous favourable decision for my senior's client. I am now a Judicial Research Counsel at the Judiciary of Trinidad and Tobago.
