Some years after I graduated in a Masters in International Finance, I studied the Graduate Diploma in Information Systems at the University of London (LSE) part-time whilst working as a Project Manager in IT related projects in the Financial Industry.
With the Graduate Diploma I wanted to extend my knowledge in the area of IT and Information Systems at a well-recognised institution. The distance learning programme allowed me a very flexible organisational setting to be able to manage the challenges of the academic programme.
I feel that the programme helped me to learn up-to-date and relevant knowledge, which already has been useful for my professional career. Due to these experiences, I can provide advice in study planning and organisation, e.g., how to be best organised during a part-time, distance learning study programme. I also feel comfortable with providing academic guidance within my areas of expertise (IT, Finance, Management).
