Design and analysis of epidemiological studies

To provide a solid understanding of the design, analysis and interpretation of observational epidemiological studies as a complement to, clinical trials.It is an option for all students on the MSc Clinical Trials and PG Diploma Clinical Trials.

Assessment
Formal assessment of the module will be by an assessed assignment (20%) and by a 2hr 15 unseen written examination (80%).
If students fail the module overall, they are allowed one further attempt at the failed element (examination and/or assignment).
