Economic analysis for health policy

This module aims to strengthen students’ knowledge of the conceptual bases for health economics analysis and develop their appreciation of how economic concepts and techniques can be applied to policy making and to the planning and management of health systems.This module is open to PG Diploma and MSc Public Health students and by students on the MSc Clinical Trials and Epidemiology programmes. This module is recommended for students studying the Health Services Management stream of the Public Health MSc.

2hr 15 unseen written examination (70%) and an assessed assignment (30%).
If you fail the module, you are allowed one further attempt at the failed element (examination and/ or assignment).
