This module introduces students to economic concepts, practice and evidence concerning the global economy and its relation to global health. It aims to improve students’ understanding of essential economic principles in global health policy.It is a core module for students registered for Global Health programmes.

Assessment

two-hour unseen written examination. If students fail the module overall, they are allowed one further attempt at the examination.
