To introduce students to the principles, concepts and methods of health care evaluation from a multi-disciplinary perspective and to demonstrate how these elements can be applied to evaluate effectiveness, efficiency (cost-effectiveness), humanity and equity of interventions in health care.

2hr 15 unseen written examination (70%) and an assessed assignment (30%).
