This module aims to introduce students to the fundamental biological principles which are necessary for the Postgraduate Diploma and MSc in Infectious Diseases.This is a compulsory core module for those on the Infectious Diseases programmes.

Formal assessment of the module will be by two assessed assignments, each worth 50% of the overall mark.
If you fail the module overall, you are allowed one further attempt at the failed element(s).
