Dr Michael Hahn
Tutor in History of Christianity
Michael Hahn is a theologian, church historian and medievalist who gained a PhD from the University of St Andrews in 2020.
Having previously taught at St Andrews and York St John, alongside his teaching at the University of London, Michael teaches at Sarum College in Salisbury, where he is Programme Leader for Postgraduate Programmes in Christian Spirituality. He has also recently finished a Mellon Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies in Toronto.
Michael’s research focuses on the late-medieval church, mystical theology and the Franciscans, and he is currently writing a monograph which will be published with Routledge, entitled Bonaventure, Angela of Foligno and Late-Medieval Mystical Theologies: Annihilation, Hierarchization and the Spirituality of Franciscans.
