Dr Miroslav Imbrišević
Tutor in Religion and Ethics
Miroslav Imbrišević did his first degree in German and philosophy at the Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität in Mainz/Germany.
Subsequently he studied for an MA and then for a PhD at Heythrop College/London, finishing in 2013. His dissertation topic was: “Carlos Nino’s Consensual Theory of Punishment.”
Miroslav then spent a year as a Research Fellow at Heythrop. From 2015-2018 he was a visiting lecturer, teaching political theory, at Heythrop College.
At present he is Associate Lecturer in philosophy at the Open University. Miroslav is interested in political and legal philosophy, the philosophy of sport, as well as in questions relating to philosophy of religion.
