Our free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) provide you with an opportunity to start studying online to develop a personal interest, as a stepping stone to new career opportunities, or to help enhance your career as part of your continuing professional development (CPD).
We also offer a wide range of competitively priced online undergraduate and master’s programmes as well as individual courses and modules from our degrees.

Our short open courses range from "Management Skills for International Business" to "Introduction to Computer Programming" and you can register for free on many of them.
Some of our free online courses are also designed to prepare you to take the next step towards studying one of our flexible degree programmes. You'll be introduced to the kind of themes that appear in our online degree programmes, such as the BSc Computer Science and Global MBA.

MOOCs available to study
How MOOCs work
MOOCs are delivered through the Coursera platform. You can register for free on many of our short open courses. If you would like a certificate of completion, a one off payment is made to Coursera for individual MOOCs.
We offer specialisations in some subject areas including Business and Management and Computing and Information Systems. You can access individual courses in a specialisation for free (in audit mode) or pay a monthly subscription fee to complete the full specialisation and receive your certification. Financial aid is available for those who cannot afford the course fee.
